WWE fans buzzing over the possibility of an edgy, R-rated Raw on Netflix should pump the brakes.

WWE President Nick Khan has made it clear that the flagship show will remain firmly in its family-friendly lane, despite its move to the streaming giant in 2025.

What’s Really Happening with WWE Raw on Netflix?

Fans hoping for a more hardcore WWE Raw when the show moves to Netflix are in for a letdown.

WWE President Nick Khan squashed rumors, emphasizing that Raw will stick to its “family-friendly, multi-generational, advertiser-friendly programming.” He also teased the addition of a “global flair” as the relationship with Netflix evolves.

Triple H’s Role in the Netflix Era

With Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque still at the helm of creative, fans can expect innovation—but within WWE’s traditional boundaries. At a recent media event, Levesque shared his excitement about the creative freedom the team has on Netflix, saying, “There’s no bad ideas. We’re just all having a blast doing it.”

Raw’s Netflix debut on January 6, 2025, marks a historic shift for the show, but fans dreaming of hardcore or X-rated content will have to look elsewhere. The focus remains on maintaining its legacy of accessible entertainment while expanding its global reach.
