China Mac, ThirdFlo & Pare Young Open Free Computer Center for Filipino Youth in Manila

China Mac, alongside Filipino rappers ThirdFlo and Pare Young, has launched a transformative project in one of Manila’s most challenging neighborhoods. Together, they opened the Steve Olive Center, a free computer facility dedicated to equipping Filipino youth with vital skills in computer literacy, coding, and creative arts.

The initiative, funded by over $25,000 in donations, aims to empower the next generation to rise above societal barriers and unlock their full potential.

From Struggles to Strength

For China Mac, this project is deeply personal. Reflecting on his own turbulent youth, he shared, “When I was a teenager, I was seen as a lost cause. But I just needed someone to show me my possibilities.” Now a reformed artist and philanthropist, China Mac has made it his mission to give back to communities often overlooked.

After witnessing the poverty and lack of opportunities for Filipino youth, he joined forces with ThirdFlo and Pare Young to create a space that could offer hope and tangible skills.

The Steve Olive Center: A Hub for Empowerment

Named after a shared vision for a brighter future, the Steve Olive Center provides free access to computers and courses designed to prepare kids for success in the modern world. Beyond technical skills, the center emphasizes creativity and self-expression, giving young Filipinos the tools they need to redefine their futures.

“This is more than just a charity,” China Mac explains. “It’s a revolution of hope.” The center’s mission is to inspire the youth to break free from societal labels and envision a brighter tomorrow—a cause that resonates deeply with its founders.

A Vision for the Future

With the Steve Olive Center now open, the founders hope this project will ignite a wave of similar initiatives across the country. “We’re only here for a short time,” China Mac said. “What we do with that time matters. And for me, it’s about helping those that others overlook.”

This remarkable initiative is proof that when passion meets purpose, lives can be transformed. The Steve Olive Center stands as a beacon of hope, showing that even in the toughest circumstances, a better future is possible.
