Marcus Jordan, son of basketball icon Michael Jordan, had an early morning he’d probably rather forget, or maybe not remember at all.
The 33-year-old was arrested in the early hours of February 4, 2025, in Florida after a bizarre series of events that included speeding away from cops, getting his Lamborghini stuck on train tracks, and allegedly having cocaine in his pocket.
According to the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office, an officer attempted to pull over Marcus at around 1:03 a.m. after spotting his black Lamborghini SUV speeding and swerving.
Marcus Jordan’s High-Speed Escape Ends in a Train Wreck
Instead of complying, Jordan reportedly hit the gas and took off, disappearing into the night. But his grand escape didn’t last long, about 10 minutes later, authorities found his car stuck on railroad tracks.
When officers approached, they noted Marcus had bloodshot eyes, slurred speech, and a general “do you know who I am?” attitude.
And, well, he literally played the “do you know who I am” card, reportedly telling cops, “Bro, I’m Marcus Jordan. I’m Michael Jordan’s son.” But really, who knows any of his Airness’ children?
From DUI to Cocaine Charges—Marcus Jordan’s Legal Troubles Stack Up
After failing field sobriety tests, Marcus was arrested for DUI. Things got worse when officers searched him and found a “white powdery substance” in his pants that didn’t seem like he got it from LeBron’s chalk toss.
It later tested positive for cocaine. Along with DUI, he now faces charges of cocaine possession and resisting arrest.
Marcus was booked into Orange County Jail and released Tuesday afternoon, choosing to keep his mouth shut and not wagging his tongue when reporters swarmed him outside. As for what Michael Jordan thinks about all this? No word yet. But something tells us there won’t be any celebratory cigars this week.
