Education Secretary Sonny Angara has announced a partnership with RealPage Philippines, Inc. to donate 1,000 personal computers to public elementary and high schools across the Philippines. The announcement was made in his official Facebook post, detailing the donation as part of the Department of Education’s efforts to improve digital learning and provide better access to technology for students.
The computers will be distributed to various public schools, with a focus on ensuring students in underserved areas gain access to the necessary tools for digital learning. This initiative aims to help bridge the digital divide and provide students with the resources they need to succeed in today’s technology-driven world.
Angara thanked RealPage Philippines executives, including Dirk Wakeham, Peter Ramolete, and Atty. Greg Nunag, for their contribution to this cause. The donation supports the Department of Education’s goal to ensure that technology is accessible to all Filipino students, in line with the vision of the Marcos administration.
