Ashley Cayuca’s leadership journey started on the basketball court.

As a former member of the De La Salle University Women’s Basketball Team, she honed her resilience, discipline, and competitive mindset—traits that would later become her greatest assets in business.

Transitioning from sports to entrepreneurship, she carried that same drive, launching multiple ventures that combine innovation with community-building.

From Food to Finance: Ashley’s Entrepreneurial Success

Cayuca is no stranger to the startup grind. She has built a strong portfolio of businesses, each one reflecting her passion for fostering meaningful connections:

  • Founder, Hola Empanadas – A food brand dedicated to bringing authentic Hispanic flavors to the Filipino market, redefining local comfort food.
  • Co-Founder, Mudpie Heaven – A café that blends comfort food with a cozy atmosphere, creating spaces where people can gather and connect.
  • Founder, Rockwell Run Club – A community-driven fitness initiative that goes beyond running; it’s about building camaraderie and inspiring healthier lifestyles.

But her impact doesn’t stop there. Cayuca has also taken her expertise into the finance world, currently serving as a Brand Community Consultant at GoTyme Bank, where she is helping bridge the gap between digital banking and real-world financial inclusion.

Driving Innovation in Finance with GoTyme Bank

As GoTyme Bank pushes forward with bold expansion plans—backed by a massive $250M funding round from its parent company, Tyme Group—Cayuca is at the forefront of integrating financial services with community-driven solutions.

She understands that banking is no longer just about transactions; it’s about creating connections and making financial tools more accessible to everyday Filipinos.

“Its really important for entrepreneurs to build community around their business because it not just about selling—its about making people feel like they’re part of something.” Ashley shared in the Speaking of Money, a GoTyme Bank Podcast.

With a strong foundation in branding and a deep understanding of consumer behavior, she is helping GoTyme Bank shape the future of banking by ensuring that financial services resonate with the people they are meant to serve.

A Future Built on Community and Collaboration

What sets Cayuca apart is her ability to weave together different industries under a common theme—community.

Whether through food, fitness, or finance, her ventures are about more than just business; they are about fostering relationships and empowering people.

As she continues to break barriers and build new opportunities, Ashley Cayuca is proving that true leadership isn’t just about climbing to the top—it’s about bringing others along for the journey.

In an era where connection is more important than ever, she is leading with vision, passion, and an unwavering commitment to making an impact.
