The 2026 global billionaire rankings released by Forbes highlight the continued concentration of wealth among the world’s largest technology founders and corporate leaders.

Leading the list is Elon Musk with an estimated net worth of about $839 billion. He is followed by Google co-founders Larry Page with roughly $257 billion and Sergey Brin with around $237 billion. Their fortunes are largely tied to the global market value of technology companies operating across industries such as electric vehicles, digital platforms, and artificial intelligence.

The annual Forbes ranking estimates wealth using publicly available data including corporate ownership, equity holdings, company valuations, and other identifiable business assets. The methodology focuses on fortunes that can be measured through documented financial records and market-valued enterprises.

Among Filipinos, Enrique Razon Jr. ranks 175th globally with an estimated net worth of about $16.5 billion, making him the richest Filipino on the 2026 list. Razon chairs International Container Terminal Services Inc., a global port operator with terminals across several continents.

Other Filipino figures also appear on the list. Ramon Ang, chairman of San Miguel Corporation, has an estimated net worth of about $3.6 billion, while Manny Villar, founder of Vista Land and Lifescapes, Inc., has an estimated fortune of around $3.1 billion.

Outside the roster of listed billionaires, Martin Romualdez does not appear on the 2026 Forbes World’s Billionaires rankings.

Whistleblower claims and inquiries have linked alleged irregularities in government contracts and infrastructure spending to possible kickbacks worth tens of billions of pesos. The allegations have surfaced amid broader scrutiny of public infrastructure spending and procurement programs.

These claims remain separate from the Forbes methodology, which only counts wealth tied to documented assets, corporate stakes, and identifiable business holdings. As a result, Romualdez is not included among the individuals listed in the 2026 rankings.
