Heart Evangelista joined a breast cancer awareness initiative with the Kasuso Foundation, taking part in an effort focused on early detection, patient support, and access to care for indigent women.
The actress shared her involvement through an Instagram Reel that showed her working alongside the Kasuso Foundation and entertainment journalist Ogie Diaz. In the caption, Evangelista wrote, “Always grateful to be part of moments that matter,” and thanked the foundation for its work in breast cancer awareness and support.
The Kasuso Foundation is a non-government organization that assists underserved breast cancer patients through screening, treatment support, and breast care programs designed to promote early intervention.
The activity adds to a growing list of advocacy work involving Evangelista. In recent months, she has participated in several health and community initiatives through the Senate Spouses Foundation Inc., including a pediatric surgical outreach in Sorsogon that provided colostomy procedures to children diagnosed with Hirschsprung’s disease, a congenital condition affecting bowel function.
She has also joined outreach activities supporting pediatric cancer patients from Kythe Foundation Inc., spending time with hospitalized children in Cebu during early holiday gift-giving efforts aimed at lifting morale during treatment.
Beyond healthcare, Evangelista has been involved in education-related programs, including the distribution of backpacks and school supplies to more than 1,200 students from kindergarten to senior high school, as well as learners enrolled in the Alternative Learning System in Tuguegarao.
Through sustained involvement in medical, educational, and community programs, Evangelista continues to place her public platform behind initiatives that deliver direct assistance to vulnerable sectors.
