Kylie Verzosa, Miss International 2016, is officially engaged to entrepreneur Emil Eriksen, marking a major personal milestone for the beauty queen and actress.
Verzosa confirmed the engagement after Eriksen proposed during a hike in Côte d’Azur, France. The proposal happened at the end of the trail, away from crowds and cameras, keeping the moment intentionally private.
“Of course, I said yes,” Verzosa said. “It was an easy yes.”
She later described the proposal as the “best hike of her life,” saying the experience took her breath away, from the climb itself to the engagement ring waiting at the end.
Verzosa shared the news on Instagram, posting photos of the ring with the caption, “YES A MILLION TIMES OVER.” In the same post, she reflected on her relationship, writing, “I learned that love is not a whirlwind but a steady calmness, growth and unwavering support, 3 years with you have been absolutely the best ily xx.”
The engagement comes after three years together and opens a new chapter for Verzosa, who rose to international recognition after winning the Miss International crown in 2016 and has since built a career in acting and advocacy.
