PGMN launches “Raw and Real”, a bold, female-led podcast hosted by Danah Gutierrez and Anastazcia Gutierrez, the identical twins who became the faces of body positivity in the Philippines from 2017 to 2018.

Known for their unapologetic advocacy through PLUMP.PH, the sisters were featured in interviews with Karen Davila, Bianca Gonzalez, and Rappler, and graced the pages of Metro Magazine and Cosmopolitan Philippines. Their advocacy led to collaborations with brands like SXY Philippines and a loyal following, positioning them as trailblazers in fat acceptance.

Amid the rise of the body positivity movement, Danah and Stacy found themselves questioning the growing trend in the U.S., where influencers embraced unhealthy eating habits, claiming, “I am healthy in my own body.” This realization led the sisters to step away from their previously held stance, facing backlash from their fan base for their intellectual honesty. Like Rebel Wilson and Adele, who also faced backlash after their weight loss transformations, Danah and Stacy remained steadfast, recognizing that true health is about more than just acceptance—it’s about making conscious choices for long-term well-being.

Their decision to step away from the mainstream body-positive narrative was an act of intellectual honesty. They understood that embracing health meant confronting uncomfortable truths. Danah and Stacy’s honesty, paired with their trademark humor and authenticity, ultimately led them to PGMN.

The alignment of their values with PGMN’s bold, transparent approach to content made the collaboration a natural fit. After auditioning and showcasing their unique brand of wit, they were welcomed into the PGMN family, where the podcast “Raw and Real” was resurrected.

In “Raw and Real”, Danah and Stacy continue to tackle unfiltered, thought-provoking discussions on wellness, self-care, sex, faith, and personal growth. They offer a space for women to engage in honest, unapologetic conversations about body positivity, moving beyond modern social movements to explore real, complex issues surrounding self-acceptance and well-being.

“Raw and Real” is now available on Spotify under Raw and Real with Danah & Stacy and on all PGMN social media channels, inviting listeners to join the sisters as they redefine the conversation on body positivity and personal growth.
