Vice President Sara Duterte dominated the WR Numero 4th Quarter 2025 presidential preference survey with 33.3%, leaving former Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Risa Hontiveros far behind. Robredo secured 13%, while Hontiveros trailed at 2.4%, highlighting the significant gap between Duterte and the other potential contenders for the 2028 presidency.
Duterte’s performance marked a 2-point increase from the previous quarter, leading across all major geographic areas, including 58% support in Mindanao and 43% in the Visayas. Robredo’s performance remained relatively stagnant, with her support at 13%—a 0.3-point decrease from previous results. Hontiveros, on the other hand, recorded a 1-point increase but remained significantly behind at 2.4%.
Regional breakdowns showed Duterte as the clear leader in every region, with Robredo and Hontiveros failing to break into double digits outside of Metro Manila. By factional support, Duterte also outperformed her rivals, securing 69% among pro-Duterte voters, while Robredo garnered 52% among the opposition, a notable but insufficient margin.
In terms of age groups and income classes, Duterte also led by significant margins. She posted 36% support among voters aged 30 and below and led across income groups with 33% in Class ABC, 30% in Class D, and 34% in Class E. Robredo’s numbers were more evenly distributed but still trailed Duterte by a large margin in all categories.
Despite the presence of other potential candidates like Raffy Tulfo (13.4%), Bong Go (4%), and Grace Poe (3.3%), Duterte’s strong national presence continues to overshadow her competitors. As the 2028 election approaches, Duterte holds a commanding lead in the presidential preference race, with Robredo and Hontiveros facing an uphill battle to close the gap.
