Television host and entertainer Willie Revillame was listed as one of the registered bidders in the public auction of luxury vehicles formerly owned by contractors Curlee Discaya and Sarah Discaya.
Revillame’s name appeared on the official roster of qualified bidders for the high-end vehicles that were seized and later placed on public sale by government authorities. The auction forms part of efforts to dispose of luxury assets linked to the Discayas, whose collection of expensive vehicles has drawn public attention amid ongoing scrutiny surrounding their wealth and business dealings.
Although Revillame registered to participate in the bidding, he did not personally send a representative during portions of the auction when some of the vehicles were offered. His inclusion on the bidders’ list nevertheless drew interest due to his prominence as a long-time television personality.
One of the most notable items auctioned was a Rolls-Royce Cullinan previously associated with the Discayas, which was eventually sold to a private buyer after earlier attempts failed to attract qualified bidders. Other luxury vehicles were likewise included as authorities moved to liquidate the seized assets.
Officials overseeing the sale said the auction followed established government procedures for the disposal of confiscated property. Proceeds from the sale are to be handled in accordance with existing rules while related cases involving the Discayas continue.
Revillame has not issued a public statement regarding his participation in the auction or whether he intended to actively bid on any of the vehicles.
