Filipina tennis player Alex Eala is set to play in the 2025 MGM Macau Tennis Masters, an invitational exhibition scheduled for December 27 to 28 at the Macao Forum in Macau, China.
Eala joins a strong 2025 lineup that includes Mirra Andreeva, Jerry Shang, Jack Draper, and Jakub Menšík, with Grand Slam champions Li Na and Conchita Martínez serving as team captains. Organizers have also confirmed that one additional ATP player will be announced ahead of the event.
The Macau Masters will feature fast-paced matches over two days under an exhibition format, bringing together some of the sport’s rising stars and established names outside the regular ATP and WTA calendar.
Before heading to Macau, the 20-year-old Eala is also expected to represent the Philippines in the 33rd Southeast Asian Games in Thailand, scheduled from December 9 to 20.
