Pornhub’s 2025 Year in Review shows a continued rise in female viewership, with women accounting for 38 percent of all visitors worldwide, reflecting a steady increase over the past decade and a shift away from the long held view that online pornography audiences are predominantly male.
The report shows significant variation by country. The Philippines recorded the highest proportion of female viewers at 64 percent, followed by Colombia and Argentina at 56 percent each. Mexico came close to parity, with women accounting for 48 percent of visitors.
Other countries with relatively high female participation include Chile and Ukraine at 46 percent, while Peru stood at 44 percent. In contrast, female viewership remained lower in the United States at 28 percent, similar to Canada, while the United Kingdom recorded the lowest share at 25 percent.
Pornhub said the global proportion of female visitors increased by 1.5 percentage points in 2025, with several countries posting year on year gains, including the Philippines at plus five points and Colombia at plus six.
Despite the growth, men still make up the majority of Pornhub users in many countries, particularly in Europe and North America. In the United States, men accounted for 72 percent of visitors, while similar figures were recorded in Canada, Italy, and Germany.
The report also detailed viewing trends in the United States, where “Latina” ranked as the most searched term in 2025, followed by “MILF” and “Asian.” Searches for “Indian” content rose compared with the previous year, while interest in “furry” content declined.
Pornhub’s data further showed differences in user behavior by state. Alaska logged the longest average visit time at 11 minutes and 48 seconds, while Louisiana recorded the shortest average session at 8 minutes and 52 seconds. The company also released relative top search terms by state in areas where the site remains accessible.
Pornhub said the data reflects changing viewing habits and a more diverse global audience, particularly as female participation continues to grow across multiple regions.
