The Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) continued its three-day peace rally today at Rizal Park, where thousands of members gathered to call for transparency and accountability in government. The event, which began on Sunday, has remained peaceful and organized as INC participants filled the Quirino Grandstand for prayers, hymns, and collective demonstrations of unity.
PGMN Anchor Ginelle Sequitin is present at the Grandstand for Woman on the Street, interviewing attendees and gathering real-time sentiments from participants taking part in the second day of the nationwide rally. Her on-ground coverage captures the personal motivations behind why memers chose to attend and what message they hope to send through their presence.
INC members from various districts continued to arrive throughout the day, maintaining strong turnout comparable to the opening day. Attendees emphasized their desire for cleaner governance and expressed support for calls promoting accountability among public officials. Authorities reported no major disturbances, and organizers regularly reminded the crowd to remain orderly and respectful.
The peace rally is also being held across multiple INC districts nationwide, creating a unified show of support for greater transparency in government. Coordinated activities such as communal prayers and structured group formations were observed across different locations, reinforcing the organization’s emphasis on peaceful civic expression.
The event will continue until tomorrow, marking the final day of the three-day gathering as INC members return to participate in the concluding assembly.
