Former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and pop superstar Katy Perry were seen sharing affectionate moments aboard a yacht off the coast of Santa Barbara, California.
According to photos obtained by Fox News Digital, the pair was spotted engaging in public displays of affection while aboard Perry’s yacht, the Caravelle. In one image, Trudeau, 53, is seen kissing Perry’s cheek while embracing her.
Another photo shows the singer, dressed in a dark swimsuit, leaning close to the former Canadian leader as he places his hand on her lower back.
Reports indicate that Perry and Trudeau were first seen dining together in July at Le Violon in Montréal. TMZ footage showed the two enjoying cocktails and seafood dishes, including lobster.
After dinner, they were seen thanking the restaurant staff before leaving together. Days later, Trudeau attended Perry’s concert in Canada, where he was filmed singing along to her hit “Dark Horse” while accompanied by his 16-year-old daughter, Ella-Grace.
The sightings come after both recently ended long-term relationships. Perry confirmed her split from actor Orlando Bloom in July after more than a decade together, citing their focus on co-parenting their four-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove.
Meanwhile, Trudeau and his ex-wife, Sophie Grégoire, finalized their separation in 2023 following 18 years of marriage.
