Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo joined a Philippine delegation at the Smart Cities Summit and Expo in Taipei, where Naga City is among the local government units being showcased.
Robredo said the delegation attended a dinner meeting linked to the event, which is being held at the Nangang Exhibition Hall. The summit is described as Asia’s largest hybrid smart city tradeshow, expected to gather more than 1,000 exhibitors, along with over 500 matchmaking sessions and more than 70 forums.
Naga City is among five Philippine cities and one municipality featured at the event, represented by the MyNaga App Team and the Aninag Council.
The MyNaga App is the official mobile application of the Naga City government. It serves as a centralized digital platform that allows users to access city services, receive official updates, view emergency hotlines, and report community concerns.
Robredo said the delegation aims to examine solutions and practices presented at the summit that could be replicated in their respective localities.
Also present during the meeting were Oliver Tian of AETECH Innovations Singapore, Victorias City Mayor Abelardo Bantug, and representatives from Cavite City, Calapan City, Victorias City, and Noveleta, Cavite.
