In a move that’s got everyone from boxing buffs to binge-watchers buzzing, our very  own “Pambansang Kamao,” is trading his boxing gloves for… well, probably more gloves, but this time on Netflix’s upcoming reality showdown, ‘Physical: Asia’.

“Oh my god!”: Conan O’Brien is in Manila

This isn’t just any reality gig; it’s a spin-off of the South Korean hit ‘Physical: 100’, which had folks glued to their screens back in 2023.

Now, if you’re thinking, “Isn’t Manny done with the whole punching-people-for-a-living thing?” you’re right. The man “hung up his professional gloves” but clearly, the competitive fire’s still blazing.

Manny Pacquiao Takes His Fighting Spirit to Reality TV

In ‘Physical: Asia’, Pacquiao isn’t just flexing for the cameras; he’s representing the Philippines in a team-based format where national pride is on the line.

And let’s be real, if there’s one guy you’d want in your corner, it’s the only boxer to snag titles in eight different weight divisions.

From the Boxing Ring to the Global Stage

Netflix dropped the news on February 4, 2025, sharing snaps of Manny and his wife, Jinkee, touching down at Incheon Airport.

Manny looks ready to show the world that age is just a number, retirement is just a suggestion, fortune favors the bold, and a bunch more cliches you wanna add here, knock yourself out.

For those who missed the memo, ‘Physical: 100’ was Netflix’s first Korean reality series to top the Non-English TV Series list, blending intense physical challenges with the kind of drama that makes you cancel plans to go to quiz night and watch “just one more episode.”

So, knuckle up folks. Pacquiao’s stepping into a new kind of ring, and if history’s any indicator, it’s going to be a knockout.
