Sabrina Ionescu, WNBA champion, Olympic gold medalist, and record-holder for most career triple doubles in NCAA history, is set to make her first-ever visit to the Philippines this March, coinciding with Women’s History Month.

This is no ordinary trip—Sabrina is not just coming to play basketball but to inspire and empower the next generation of young hoopers. Whether you’re a seasoned baller or someone just starting to love the game, Sabrina’s message is clear: Dream big, break barriers, and put in the hard work to make it all happen.

Breaking Barriers for Women in Sports

As an Olympic gold medalist and the record-holder for most career triple doubles in NCAA history, Sabrina has already accomplished more than many could dream of in their entire careers. But it’s her role as a pioneer for women in sports that truly sets her apart.

She’s been a driving force in changing the narrative for female athletes, paving the way for young girls to follow in her footsteps. And now, she’s bringing that same drive to the Philippines.

“I’m excited to connect with basketball fans across Manila, Guangzhou, and Hong Kong, especially young hoopers. You can feel their passion for the game, even from New York,” Sabrina said.

“Together we will celebrate the game, and I hope we inspire each other to achieve our dreams with dedication, commitment, and hard work.”

Sabrina’s Power-Packed Manila Schedule

Sabrina’s Manila tour is packed with events that will leave a lasting impact on Filipino basketball culture. The events begin on March 10, where Sabrina will kick off her day at the Nike Fort in Bonifacio Global City with a panel talk.

She’ll be joined by fellow Nike athletes and coaches to discuss breaking barriers and defying stereotypes in the game. This panel will not just be about basketball—it will be a call to action for young players to believe in themselves and aim higher.

The next event will be a basketball clinic at The Courtyard, where Sabrina will work closely with young hoopers, teaching them the skills she’s honed over the years. If you’ve ever wanted to learn from one of the best, now is your chance.

The main event of Sabrina’s Manila tour will be the 2025 Sabrina Manila Tour: Craft the Future Showcase at Araneta Coliseum on March 11. This electrifying event will feature Sabrina herself, where she will participate in an exhibition game and a thrilling 3-point shootout challenge.

Filipino basketball fans will get the chance to watch some of the country’s best professional and collegiate players compete alongside one of the top stars in the WNBA.

Nike Sabrina 2 Collaboration Launch

Sabrina’s visit is also a chance for fans to get an exclusive look at her latest collaboration with Nike. The Nike Sabrina 2 sneaker is designed for athletes who break boundaries, just like Sabrina herself. Expect a major buzz when the shoe officially launches during her Manila tour.

Free Events, First-Come, First-Served

Sabrina’s events in Manila are open to the public, and the best part? They’re completely free. Fans can register for tickets through the Nike website (on a first-come, first-served basis) and experience the magic of meeting a WNBA superstar in person.

Sabrina’s Global Mission: Empowering Young Female Athletes

After her Manila visit, Sabrina will continue her tour in Guangzhou, China, where she’ll host a grassroots basketball camp for girls. Her final stop will be in Hong Kong, where she’ll immerse herself in the local street basketball culture and visit schools, inspiring students to break through barriers in both sports and life.

Sabrina Ionescu’s Asia tour isn’t just a series of basketball events—it’s a declaration that the future of sports belongs to those who dare to dream beyond the limits.

She’s not just playing the game; she’s rewriting its rules, showing young athletes—especially women—that greatness doesn’t come by chance, but through relentless passion, resilience, and the courage to challenge the status quo.

Sabrina’s journey is a living testament that no dream is too big, no barrier too high, and no goal too impossible to achieve. She’s not just inspiring the next generation—she’s igniting a movement that will reshape what’s possible for women in sports, and beyond.
