Biden Gives Ukraine the Green Light to Hit Russia—What’s Next?

President Biden just gave Ukraine the green light to use U.S.-made long-range missiles against Russia, raising the stakes in the ongoing war.

The move focused on the Kursk region in western Russia, comes as a direct response to Moscow’s deployment of 10,000 North Korean troops to support its forces in the area.

NATO’s Involvement Sparks Putin’s Fury

The decision follows similar authorizations from Britain and France, who allowed Ukraine to launch SCALP/Storm Shadow missile strikes.

Russian President Vladimir Putin warned that these actions effectively involve NATO directly in the conflict, calling it an “act of war.”

Putin has long claimed that NATO personnel are heavily involved in Ukraine’s military operations, and this latest development further stokes tensions.

Trump’s Peace Efforts Loom

Meanwhile, President-elect Trump is preparing to step in.

His transition team is reportedly working on a peace plan that could involve freezing the frontlines, creating a demilitarized zone, and allowing Russia to keep around 20% of Ukrainian territory.

While some see this as a practical solution, critics argue it could embolden Russia and weaken Ukraine’s sovereignty.

With missile strikes, geopolitical tension, and peace talks all in play, Biden’s decision adds another layer of complexity to the war.

As the situation unfolds, all eyes are on the potential fallout—and whether Trump’s plans could reshape the battlefield.
