Lawyer and political commentator Jesus Falcis received 1% voter preference in Pulse Asia’s latest nationwide survey of possible Senate candidates ahead of the 2028 elections.
Falcis, who declared his Senate bid in April, was named by 1% of respondents, who were allowed to choose up to 12 candidates. The rating placed him in the 42nd to 53rd range, outside the survey’s statistical winning circle.
He tied with ACT Teachers Rep. Antonio L. Tinio and political analyst and former presidential adviser Ronald Llamas, who also received 1% each. Gabriela Rep. Sarah Elago garnered 0.7%, while Akbayan President Rafaela David received 0.5%.
Falcis trailed several possible candidates who posted voter preferences above 30%. Sen. Robin Padilla led the survey with 48.4%, followed by Vico Sotto with 47.9%, Sen. Raffy Tulfo with 43.9%, Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano with 43.2%, Sen. Loren Legarda with 40.3%, former Sen. Manny Pacquiao with 35.6% and Sen. Nancy Binay with 32.4%.
Pulse Asia conducted face-to-face interviews with 2,400 adults nationwide from June 28 to July 3 and on July 6, 2026. The survey had a ±2% margin of error at the 95% confidence level.
