Jollibee’s Chickenjoy was voted the No. 1 Best Fast Food Fried Chicken in the U.S. in USA TODAY’s 2026 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards, securing the top spot for the third consecutive year.
Chickenjoy prevailed in one of the world’s most competitive fast-food markets, defeating established American chicken chains. Church’s Texas Chicken placed second in the category, while Roy Rogers’ ranked third.
The winners were determined through public voting by USA TODAY readers. Nominees were first selected by the publication’s editors and a panel of quick-service dining experts.
Jollibee Group President and Chief Executive Officer Ernesto Tanmantiong said the back-to-back-to-back victory showed that customers continued to recognize the brand’s quality and service.
“Receiving this recognition for the third consecutive year is especially meaningful because it reflects the consistency of the quality, taste, and customer experience that we work hard to deliver with every serving of Chickenjoy,” Tanmantiong said.
The latest win adds to Chickenjoy’s growing list of international honors. It was previously named Best Fast-Food Fried Chicken by Eater in 2022 and Best Chain Fried Chicken in America by Thrillist in 2021.
Jollibee currently operates around 100 stores across North America and more than 1,800 locations worldwide. Its three-year reign in the reader-voted competition marks another milestone for the homegrown Filipino brand as it introduces its signature crispy and juicy fried chicken to more customers abroad.
