President Bongbong Marcos called on Iglesia ni Cristo members to deepen their contribution to national development as the religious organization marked its 112th anniversary. He urged the INC to direct its faith, discipline and extensive community network toward helping families, vulnerable sectors and communities in need.
Marcos said the church’s growth from its Philippine beginnings into an international religious organization had expanded its capacity to support social welfare, peace-building and civic participation.
“For more than a century, the INC has served as a guide to a community grounded in faith, discipline, and a shared sense of responsibility,” Marcos said.
“May this milestone deepen your commitment to translating your beliefs into meaningful acts that uplift those in need, comfort the weary and foster harmony wherever you serve,” he added.
The President used the anniversary to press members to connect religious conviction with concrete action addressing wider social concerns.
“In this spirit, I encourage every member of the INC to remain a steadfast partner in nation-building, where faith is demonstrated through service and citizenship is expressed through genuine concern for others,” Marcos said.
