Peanut Gallery Media Network’s official Instagram account has crossed 150,000 followers, marking another major digital milestone for the media platform less than two years after the page was launched.
The PGMN official Instagram account started in late 2024 and has since grown to 152,900 followers. It has become one of the network’s key channels for news clips, political explainers, episode highlights, reels, carousels, and public engagement. The milestone reflects the account’s rapid rise on Instagram, where media organizations now compete for attention through fast-moving, visual, and issue-driven content.
The Instagram growth comes as PGMN continues to expand across its wider digital network. Across all platforms, Peanut Gallery Media Network now has 1.2 million followers, led by 731,100 followers on Facebook, 310,000 subscribers on YouTube, 152,900 followers on Instagram, 18,000 followers on TikTok, and 16,700 followers on X.
PGMN is also now 19 months old and has reached 1.11 billion lifetime views across all platforms, with an average engagement rate of 3.0 percent. The figures show the scale and speed of the network’s growth across major social media platforms, driven by long-form episodes, short-form videos, political commentary, issue-based reporting, public accountability coverage, and its continuing advocacy for free speech.
This milestone comes at a critical time for PGMN. Before PGMN could release its coverage on the alleged budget corruption in the House under former House Speaker Martin Romualdez, the company and its associates were dragged into an extortion allegation. PGMN firmly maintains that this was a frame-up meant to stop the story from coming out and silence its reporting. But the controversy did not stop PGMN. It brought more public attention to its work, with more Filipinos following its reporting as viewership and engagement rose across its platforms.
For PGMN, the 150,000-follower mark on Instagram lands at a defining moment for the network. In just 19 months, it has built a multi-platform audience of 1.2 million followers and generated more than 1.11 billion views, while positioning itself as a media platform centered on accountability, public scrutiny, and the defense of free expression in the digital space.
