PGMN has received information about the reported death of a foreign national at a residential condominium in Taguig City on October 23, 2026. The incident, which allegedly occurred at a property owned by one of the richest families in the Philippines, has raised serious questions about the handling of the man’s body, the apparent lack of public disclosure, and the circumstances surrounding his death.
At approximately 10:50 a.m., the man reportedly fell from the building’s top floor, although the exact floor level remains unconfirmed. He landed in a ground-floor community garden directly in front of the lobby, where children were playing.
According to an account provided to PGMN, residents and children witnessed the fall and its aftermath, with some believing the man, although covered in his own blood, was still flinching after impact.
The account alleges that the man was not immediately transported to a hospital. Instead, PGMN was told by an eye witness that the body was covered with flattened cardboard boxes minutes after the fall and remained in the garden for approximately three hours while police investigators were awaited.
On October 24, the condominium management shockingly proceeded with a large Halloween celebration in the exact same lobby and garden area where the body had been found the previous day.
A resident also alleged that the building manager initially provided inaccurate information about the incident.
As of October 26, no public statement from the property developer or official investigative findings have been verified. The absence of an established public account raises questions about the lack of news coverage.
The incident also raises concerns about the psychological impact on witnesses, particularly on the children who saw the dead (or near-dead) body. It remains unclear whether property management provided counseling or psychological support to residents who witnessed the aftermath.
The cause of death remains undetermined, with no verified findings establishing whether the fall was accidental, self-inflicted, or involved foul play.
The reported circumstances leave significant questions about emergency response, residential safety, and the status of the police investigation. Public disclosure of the findings would help establish what happened, address concerns among residents, and determine whether appropriate procedures were followed.
