Russian-American YouTuber Vitaly remains in Philippine custody as of June 2025, facing multiple criminal charges stemming from his controversial actions during livestreams in Bonifacio Global City.

He has been transferred from the Bureau of Immigration (BI) detention facility in Taguig to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) facility in Muntinlupa

Vitaly is accused of three counts of unjust vexation, two cases of theft, and one count of attempted theft. These charges relate to incidents where he allegedly harassed security personnel, stole items, and caused public disturbances during his livestreams.

Despite being declared an “undesirable foreign national,” his deportation is on hold pending the resolution of his legal cases.

Recent images of Vitaly show him appearing more dejected, with a somber expression and a noticeable decline in demeanor. These photos contrast sharply with his earlier, more defiant public appearances, suggesting the weight of his legal troubles may be taking a toll.

The Philippine government has emphasized that Vitaly will not receive special treatment during his detention. He will remain in regular detention conditions and will face the legal consequences of his actions in the Philippines.

As of now, the Russian remains in the BJMP facility in Muntinlupa, awaiting the resolution of his legal cases. His case serves as a reminder of the Philippine government’s commitment to upholding local laws and protecting the dignity of its citizens, regardless of the perpetrator’s nationality.
