South Korean entrepreneur YoungHoon Kim has attracted widespread attention online after publicly declaring his belief in Jesus Christ, with a series of social media posts that quickly spread across Christian communities and beyond.
Kim, who is known for his work in technology and cognitive research, shared a message affirming his Christian faith and linking it directly to his understanding of reason and truth.
“As the world’s highest IQ record holder, I believe that Jesus Christ is God, the way and the truth and the life,” Kim wrote in a post that was widely shared across social media platforms.
The statement drew significant attention because it came from a figure known internationally for his involvement in intelligence research and cognitive science. The post was reposted by numerous Christian pages and online communities, sparking discussion about the relationship between faith, science, and intellectual inquiry.
Kim later expanded on his views with another brief but widely circulated message.
“Christ is my logic,” he wrote.
In subsequent remarks, Kim said he hopes to use his public platform to “lead many souls to God,” underscoring his desire to openly discuss his Christian beliefs despite the often-contentious debates surrounding religion in academic and scientific circles.
Beyond his public statements on faith, Kim is the founder of NeuroStory, a South Korean organization focused on artificial intelligence and brain health technology. He has also studied Christian theology at Yonsei University, one of South Korea’s leading universities, reflecting a longstanding interest in both scientific and religious questions.
Kim’s recent posts have generated discussion among Christians who view his comments as a notable example of a public figure with a strong academic and technology background openly embracing faith. The remarks have also prompted broader conversations online about whether scientific achievement and religious belief are necessarily at odds.
While discussion surrounding Kim often focuses on claims about his intelligence credentials, the central message of his recent posts was his personal profession of Christian faith. Rather than discussing scientific theories or technological developments, Kim used his platform to express his belief in Jesus Christ and to encourage others to explore faith for themselves.
