Manila Mayor Isko Moreno lauded President Bongbong Marcos after the President personally distributed ₱20,000 scholarships to 4,426 graduating college students from Manila’s six districts at the Rizal Memorial Stadium on June 3.
Moreno said Marcos has continued to extend assistance to the City of Manila, citing the scholarship distribution as another round of support from the Office of the President.
“Hindi tumitigil si Pangulong Marcos na tulungan ang Lungsod ng Maynila,” Moreno said.
The mayor said the event showed the national government’s continued assistance to Manileños under Marcos’ leadership.
“Tayo ngayon ay nagkikita-kita at nagkakasama-sama, dala ng panibagong tulong ng Office of the President through the leadership of President Bongbong Marcos,” he said.
The scholarship aid covered graduating college students from across Manila, with each beneficiary receiving ₱20,000 in financial assistance. The distribution placed the Office of the President’s education support program before students preparing to complete their college degrees.
