Peanut Gallery Media Network (PGMN) has reached another milestone in its rapid digital expansion, with its Instagram audience crossing 200,000 followers and its combined social media following exceeding two million in just 24 months of operations. The achievement reflects the independent media network’s growing presence in a Philippine media industry long dominated by established broadcast and publishing companies.
PGMN’s updated consolidated figures have reached at least 2,018,885 followers across five major platforms. Facebook accounted for the largest share with 1,130,684 followers, followed by YouTube, which has now surpassed the 400,000-subscriber milestone with 401,105 subscribers. The network’s seven TikTok accounts had a combined 231,601 followers, while Instagram previously recorded 196,898 and X had 58,597. Instagram has since crossed the 200,000-follower mark, further increasing the network’s combined audience.
The Instagram milestone follows PGMN’s strongest viewership month in company history on the platform, which generated a record 142,738,656 views in just 30 days. The figures demonstrate the scale of the network’s content distribution, with its monthly viewership reaching far beyond its existing follower base.
PGMN has also accumulated almost 2.5 billion cumulative views across its social media platforms, with the network now on pace to do approximately one billion views every quarter moving forward. Its expanding digital presence has been driven by news coverage, investigative reports, political commentary, podcasts, interviews, and short-form videos covering major national developments.
Facebook and YouTube remain major contributors to the network’s overall viewership, generating a combined 151,915,962 views in the last 30 days. Meanwhile, TikTok recently recorded 13.3 million views in the last 28 days, its highest performance since PGMN established a new account following repeated suspensions of its previous accounts. Its revived Threads account also surpassed one million views shortly after returning to the platform recently.
Beyond its official accounts, PGMN’s 16 anchors now have a combined 17,827,723 followers across their individual social media platforms. Atty. Regal Oliva leads with approximately 4.23 million followers, followed by Kiko Barzaga with 4.01 million, Edu Manzano with 1.95 million, and Kelley Day with 1.8 million. Atty. Rowena Guanzon, Atty. Neil Abayon, and Brandon Vera each have audiences exceeding one million followers.
The network has undeniably impacted culture, consistently influenced legislation, gotten multiple corrupt officials fired or to resign, and has literally altered election results.
The network’s growth is particularly significant given the scale of its operations. Based on PGMN’s estimates, it attracts approximately one-fifth of the monthly viewership of some of the country’s largest legacy media companies that have existed for decades at less than 1% of their monthly operating expenses. This comparison highlights the production efficiency of its digital-first approach and its ability to attract substantial audiences with comparatively limited resources.
With more than 200,000 Instagram followers, over 400,000 YouTube subscribers, more than two million followers across its official platforms, and 2.23 billion cumulative views, PGMN is making its case as Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing digital media network, demonstrating the growing scale of independent, technology-driven news production in the region.
