Teachers will receive an early holiday boost this November as Department of Education (DepEd) Secretary Sonny Angara ordered the release of the 2025 Year-End Bonus and ₱5,000 Cash Gift for all eligible personnel. The directive, dated November 4, 2025, ensures that the benefits will be included in the first payroll of November.

The memorandum, issued under DBM Budget Circular No. 2024-3, grants teaching and non-teaching staff a bonus equivalent to one month of their basic pay plus the ₱5,000 cash gift. It recognizes the dedication and service of DepEd personnel to Filipino learners and the education sector.

“All Regional and Schools Division Offices are directed to ensure the release of these benefits with the first November 2025 payroll. Please coordinate closely with all implementing units to guarantee the timely processing and disbursement,” the memo stated.

Angara stressed that every DepEd employee should receive their benefits on time, reaffirming the department’s commitment to fair and timely recognition of educators’ contributions across the country.
